DR. FRANK MORSANI is a philanthropist and businessman who will discuss his award winning and lifelong career leadership style based upon dedication, integrity and high ethical behavior. He has truly lived the American Dream—and his message to all Americans is to strive to achieve and live the American Dream, too.

Dr. Morsani will take you through his life story and provide golden-nuggets of how to succeed in business. His story begins with his birth in Michigan. As young teen during the Great Depression, he worked on family farms in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Dr. Morsani was responsible for running the family farm in Oklahoma while his father worked as a pipeline welder. He served 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean War and then graduated from Oklahoma State University. His past work experiences helped formulate his work ethic, which in turn assisted him in achieving greatness as an owner and operator of several automobile dealerships employing 3,000+ team-members since 1971.

He’s a champion of small businesses and aided three U.S. Presidential administrations, and served as Chairman of the Board at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Currently, Dr. Morsani serves as Chairman of the University of South Florida Investment Committee; Executive Committee of the Straz Center for the Performing Arts Center; and Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

He received Honorary PhDs from Oklahoma State University and University of South Florida.

In 1983, his business earned the Quality Automobile Dealer Award by Time Magazine. In 1991, he was inducted in the Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame. In 1997, he was recognized as Tampa Bay’s Philanthropist of the Year.
