Northcentral University’s Lambda Eta Chapter of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business meet and greet was held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 6PM-8PM at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, AZ.   The meet and greet was a great success and one of several honor society pre-graduation events held that evening.  Chapter President, Dr. Mark McGibbon (pictured far right with Chapter Secretary, Cynthia Crawford) announced the recipients of the 2016 DMD Author Excellence Awards during the honor society recognition reception at 7PM.  The awards were designed to recognize Lambda Eta Chapter members of DMD that have made a significant contribution to the business discipline through authorship of original work. The deadline for application to be considered for the award was in May and recipients named in June.  During the reception, honor society members  were also given honor cords and medallions in recognition of their academic achievement.

The organizer for the event was Chapter Treasurer, Kim Vince (pictured top right with Chapter Secretary, Cynthia Crawford).  Also in attendance was Faculty Advisor for the Lambda Eta Chapter of Delta Mu Delta, Dr. Georgia Grantham (pictured lower right with two DMD members and NCU class of 2016 graduates) and Chapter Secretary,  Cynthia Crawford (doctoral candidate).  Vice President, Venessa Jefferson (doctoral candidate) was not in attendance.  The 2016 NCU commencement ceremony was held the following day on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 2PM-4PM followed by a commencement reception.

DMD would like to congratulate all award recipients and DMD members of the graduating class of 2016.  We had a wonderful time meeting with DMD members and thank everyone that attended the meet and greet.  We look forward to hosting another meet and greet next year!
